Hypertension Symptoms and What They Mean

People should be careful and aware of their own health condition, especially if they’re experiencing pulmonary hypertension symptoms. Hypertension is considered as one of the most dangerous illness in the world and it’s called as silent killer. There’s a reason why it’s called like that, because the patients feel no medical pain or complaints and suddenly everything is too late. But this disease can be prevented if they pay attention to the common signs of hypertension symptoms.

Pulmonary Hypertension Symptoms and Pulmonary Hypertension

Before talking about the symptoms of hypertension, it’s better to know what pulmonary hypertension is, what causes it, and the effects. Everyone knows that the heart consists of two main chambers: the left side and the right side. Each of them has their own functions and roles. The left chamber is responsible for distributing the fresh blood containing oxygen from the heart to the whole body; while the right chamber is responsible for distributing the blood from the whole body to the heart.

The right and left chamber is connected with vital artery called as pulmonary artery. This artery is supposed to be free from anything so the blood flow will run smoothly and well. But due to certain medical condition, natural cause, of bad life style, the artery can be blocked or obstructed. It can experience clotting or thickening, causing the blood to have difficulty to pass through. When it happens and as it gets worse, the blood will be stuck and the right chamber will enlarge. In chronic condition, the right chamber starts building up fluids, which can also happen in kidneys, liver, and even legs. The condition can be prevented if people pay attention to the hypertension symptoms.

There’re several common signs of pulmonary hypertension symptoms, such as:

  • fatigue
  • dizziness
  • short of breath
  • chest pain

If people find these symptoms of hypertension, they should check themselves and seek help immediately.
